Megan in the leaves. Many of you will recognize this, but I really do think it's probably my best, (or one of my best) of 2004. A close tie with "Sleep Circle", which you might remember as well.. (check my portfolio under B&W shots to see it).

This is a really cute photo :) I like the crop and composition, but on my monitor it looks slightly washed out - the blacks are a grey and not black. A slight levels adjustment would definately make this photo worth a point higher minimum as it would improve the overall clarity.
Great expression, great color, great fun. This is one time I wish the subject wasn't so much on the 1/3 line or perfectly vertical -- it makes it "look" a bit posed even though it feels very spontaneous otherwise.
This is the ultimate childhood portrait. The look of joy on her face is simply amazing. You can clearly see that not only is the child having a blast, but she really loves the person that she is with. That's a rare and precious gift. This is one you should really have on your wall. Her parents should also have one on the wall. :) Simply spectacular shot, and I think truly one of your best. 10
I've had to come back and study this shot a few times to really appreciate it.
The composition and detail are good, and a photograph sure to make a parent beam looking at it ((8))
Very cute image...A bit of a light cast that has "clouded" the image a bit. Some minor adjustments (light cast and enrich the colours of the leaves) would have appealed to me. Good luck.
while i find this an unique portrait, there is something that feels a bit artificial to me. i just can't quite put my finger on it, but it just doesn't feel natural. good luck with the rest of the voters, 5 is the best i can do here.
Beautiful image with lovely use of leaves both as background and toy! Lovely expression of happiness and nice catchlight in the eye. A lovely portrait. 7
AWESOME picture!!! The more I look at it, the more I love it. The baby's smile, and the way he (or it's hard to tell -- it may be a she -- sorry) instinctively picks up the leaves to hold.
I love the subject of this image, but it is too soft for my taste, I would like to see the colors more vibrant and the photo sharper, but that is just my opinion.
