I didn`t vote in this challenge but if I had this would have received my highest score.
Another beauty from the "Master" of candids.

Great setting! Works well in black and white -- a ten!

Given the window of the building in the background and the language on the walls this must be france. The window rules out Canada.
I like the composition. The store is a pleasant mess, I can almost smell the fish.
The Sepia tone works well, better than B&W I think.

I have looked at this one many times. The old feeling to the color choice, the wide(squared) crop and everything that has been included work well to minimize the man's presence while not pushing him so far back as to make him unimportant. It is candid and the extra stuff from the wares for sale all the way to the tiled floor add to the ambiance. Only the highlight on his face seems somewhat diastracting to me and could easily be taken care of with a slight burn. Jumping from 6 to 8.

This is a very good example of a candid capture. The mood of the picture fits the subjects facial expression. Well done in B & W. Good job.

I like the title of your photo. It's a simple word and a simple concept, but as the photo clearly demonstrates, running a business is often quite hectic. This clash between simplicity and complexity is portrayed further through your use of black and white. Great shot.

Very strong environmental candid. Would benefit from a more muted, softer tonal range and more sparing use of the sharpening filters, I think. There's lots going on, lots of stories to read. Good work!

Looking at this photo reminds me of how I want to look at the world. I want to look at the world as if I want to capture it's image in a way that is better than it actually is but accurately non-the less. This shows the skill of a practiced eye. The composition is brilliant in a situation where others would be overwhelmed by excess "stuff". The timing, lighting, tone, and detail have such artistry. The burned highlights in the middle are the only slight flaw, although I think they work well in the area where they bring the writing out on the wall. 10

Great, small-town feel. I strive to be able to take shots like this.
