 Yeah, 1/3000th of a second should freeze the bugger.. ahem.

I was shooting an outdoor concert on a late night in June, with the camera on aperture priority and a wide open 70-200mm f/4L, when I spotted a photographer who had climbed upon a roof behind the stage. Quickly pointing the lens upward against the sun, I didn't pay any attention to the exposure settings and only saw the faintly ridiculous shutter speed that resulted when I looked at the EXIF information later that night.

btw., although it might look excessively dodged in the area around the photographer, it is mostly just natural light

A tigter crop in my opinion would have made for a nicer appeal. I find there is to much wasted space and the nothing to look at other then a silhouette which makes for a fairly boring picture. I do however like te detail in the silhouette.

I'd like to see a little detail in the man. I like the angle of the roof(?) and the contrast between the black and gray areas, though.
