Composition - Nice simple composition. This is the strong, and weak point of this photo in my opinion. But I think that depends entirely on opinions. The simplicity of the composition in my opinion is what makes this image as good as it is. There isn't a lot of stuff to distract anyone from anything but the egg. On the flip side, this image is a little sterile for my tastes. I'm not saying its necessarily suffering from a lack of creativity, but that there is so much white and nothing else. I don't really like the degree that this photo is high key.
Technical - I think this image is effective overexposed, just not this much. Aside from that this is an extremely well taken photo.
Overall - Good image, just a bit bright for my tastes. It makes me think of hospitals for some reason.

| Like the high key style. This one is maybe just a little too high key for my taste. I think I would like to see (barely) the right edge of the egg or at least until it was out of frame. |

| your rainbow visual effects are retained in PictureViewer, which means they are intended. my premium viewer - quicktime makes the effects quite differently than on the net....... and it showed your colour is even more pronounced. often when a rainbow effect is present in a pic, quicktime shows it without the artifact. The opposite of what yours did. |

| nicely done. The high key look of this shot was a great idea and you have executed it very well. Your lighting here is excellent! It's great how subtle the shadows are, yet they are defined and work great here. |

| This is staggering - really brave, confident, and very very gorgeous: has that simplicity of 'I could have thought of that, and done it' but of course no-one else did. The first photo on this site that I'm going to rate 10. How'd you get the field so white without it looking over-exposed? Is that just because the background itself is so white? Fabulous ... |

| Love the idea, but wish there were just a tiny bit more contrast in the shadow and edges of the egg. Composition and presentation are just wonderful! |
