I was having fun with a really cool, hand-held smoke machine! I had really hoped that more of cassiopeia could be seen in the cauldron. But when this challenge came about, it seemed perfect. I'm wondering how many people will notice the ears in the cauldron. :)

So yes -- the ears are real — they are Cassie's ears.

Thanks for the comments. :)

This is the cool fog machine -- it's massively cool, small, and doesn't stink!

Fantastic, there are so many cats and dogs in the smoke that I almost missed the ears in the cauldron.

Love how kitty looks skeptical.
