This picture is not intended as a threat to anyone.

This is my final entry on DPC. I have realised that my style does not fit what you folks like so for the sake of my mental health I am leaving. I've learned a lot from my time here, I started with a point and shoot and now have a Canon R6 Mk2.

And, if anyone is curious, yes, I did shoot those holes myself, benchrest at 25 metres. The one miss and the one just touching the edge of the target represent my early efforts. The one touching the 9 ring represents my best finish, 6th out of 194.

I am actually a good shot, in my portfolio is a photo of a target from this same day when I was trying to do well.

He posted a masterpiece of his latest dream, wept as he looked at the score, then hesitantly decided to go shoot again once more.

Punches through immediately with its high-contrast graphic design: bright red concentric rings, clean white dots, and a sharp central bullseye. It’s simple, bold, and almost poster-like, so your eye locks onto it before the more subtle or documentary-style images.
The cheeky title adds personality too—it turns a plain target into a little story instead of just “here’s a number.” Most of the others feel like competent “find a number in the real world” entries; this one feels more intentional and designed.
