 this is the first insect i've shot in many months ..

i wasnt thinking of a challenge when i took it .. just wanted to see if i could still photograph insects ...

decided to enter it .. feeling that because its the playoffs it might go badly .. especially as some may not like this in bnw .. but i thought .. each to his own ..

it does look ok in colour .. but to me nearly everything feels better in black and white .. it has an indefinable quality that colour just doesnt have ..

I'll be interested if anyone picks this as mine .. xx ..

hiding behind anonymity when giving very low votes ..
1. their vote might reflect their true opinion of the image .. but they dont want backlash ..
2. their vote might be an effort to bring down their competition .. and they dont want backlash ..
3. there must be another reason which i cant think of atm .. !! ..

but really i'd love to know the reasons for not only the very low votes .. but for the high ones as well .. xx ..

Congratulations, stunning silver capture in all the shades of greys.
