Captured during an early morning walk along the boardwalk, this low-angle shot highlights the quiet stillness of the day before the crowds arrive. What makes this image unique is the combination of textures and leading lines—the rugged wood grain of the wet planks contrasting with the smooth pools of water reflecting the brilliant, warm amber lights of a distant utility vehicle. It fits this challenge wonderfully by utilizing perspective and deep surface texture, turning an ordinary boardwalk surface into a striking study of light, wood grain, and morning reflections.
