 A close-up study of stacked wire crab pots on the waterfront, highlighting the intricate mesh patterns and industrial textures of local commercial crabbing infrastructure against a moody coastal harbor backdrop. I like the anamorphic aspect ratio in general, but for this image, it works especially well. Since it was a stormy day, there wasn't much detail in the sky, so I didn't want to include much of that. The crab pots were the main focus of the picture, and the contrast in distance between those close-up traps and the boat in the background worked exceptionally well in this aspect ratio.
