Would be stronger if a quarter of the foregrounf were removed and the equivalent added to the top to feature the mechanism more. |

I think lots of other voters will score it down due to the fact it needs electricity to work. But maybe it's hand-operated... Nice details, 8 for me... |

I love this picture, but the contest is for something mechanical that doesn't use electricity and a record player does use electricity. However, great pic! |

Very impressive capture. I like the way the stylus really contacts the record . it almost looks like it's digging in. I'm not sure what those marks are going against the grain. Is that the lighting or imperfections in the album? |

Composition: 5, Don't think you need the center of the record to get point across.
Technical: 3, The blury label is distracting, needs more contrast
Appeal: 5, doesn't really pop
