Nice! A metronome was a perfect idea, and adding the person playing was a good touch so it's not a simple still life. In fact, I thought I wrote that comment during the challenge, but I see it didn't take!

I should add that I thought about shooting a metronome as well, except ours is electronic!

Is that you playing?

This is a vivid foto of the practice session. The metronome goes tick, tick, tick and the guitar goes plunk, plunk, plunk. I visualize a beginer practicing, practicing and practicing! The eye is drawn to the metronome and then travels down the guitar to the hands. Excellant foto.

The image is quite gray (or was before toning). Nice idea. I would have liked the metronome positioned closer to center, now it's falling away. Highlight at after the rightmost hand could be good, but feels like it's also too close to the border to be good now.

I hope you get a ribbon for this, the angle is perfect and the whole idea is wonderful!

Your tonal range is a little flat. (Haha - bad musical pun).
Seriously though, I'm sure you could pull a lot more impact out of this picture with some simple curve adjustment.

I very much like the play this makes on the concept; not only have we the metronome, which is a purely mechanical device, but we have the idea of the musician practicing the mechanics of his craft. I'd quibble with the cropping left (needs a tad more space) and fore (I don't want to lose the tiny bit of the metronome cover that's missing).

I don't know how it would look with more of the guitar in the frame, but the composition, tone and lighting are all great! 8, good luck...
