 I took a similar picture of his father for a challenge on DPC many years ago which was straight and within the “rules” of pictures like this but decided to have this one a little “off” to make people stop and look again😏
I realised during the voting period that “voters” dont like the “off” feeling and thought I was trying something that didnt work. Well… it is not hard to do this the regular way but I liked this strange combination better 😊

So close but not quite there. To be truly effective, the photo needs to match perfectly with your features, as it is it is a little too small - it could perhaps be countered by holding the photo a little further forward, Very difficult to gauge right if this is a self-portrait. Sepia toning is good, and suits the image.
