Overall Calculated Average Score: 6, A Bunn Special Huh! Nice watch but very hard to make into a killer photo. Very hard to get without blown out spots and dust jumping up all over. Nice try though.

Theme:
Obvious mechanical genre. A pitty such photos of 'open' clocks are widely spread and somewhat 'overseen', while still very popular 'cause fascinating. Luckily choosen a very interesting exponent of such watches! So for me a 4 for theme/object and interest.

Technical:
Very good crop and a close POV, paired with the good macro-view, are guiding the viewer's view slightly through the turbulent and many objects itself. Although it is hard to catch one clear object of interest, the composition is lead by slight diagonals.
Sharpness appeals good, with the choosen contrast very fine details of the different structures are viewable, thus important here. The colors are helping for differentation too. The choosen time value works very well for me, showing some dynamic movement on the balance-wheel, not too static.
The very close to blown contrast value at the left side does slightly decrease the overall good technical factors for it. I would rate it technically: 6

Expression/Impact:
It has done one, at least towards me, because if not, i would have not rated and commented it.
Also i took this one out of the others. Why? Ye, because the compositional and technical merits here had made my vote for this photo. Some other photos with the same objects were nice too, but not as expressive than this.
It does not 'rock me off my socks' but it does have its fasciantion, so 7 points.

Alltogether / 3 = 5,66

Great shot. Nice lighting. Very good detail. I expect to see quite a few shots along this line, but here, compositionally I like how the 3 main gears give the shot a nice flow for the eye to follow.
