This is the Congress Street Bridge in Austin, TX which is famous for the largest urban Mexican Freetailed Bat population. This was taken at sunset as the crowed gathered for the the bats to fly out from under the bridge at sunset.

I'm excited for this as my first ribbon! I've been at it for a long time and it's nice to see evidence that I'm improving. |

Interesting picture/location and I like the high contrast/silhouette.
I think this could be used as an album cover for music I haven't quite identified. Something modern (with lots of notes.. hahaha). |

Such an iconic silhouette that if this wasn't a photo challenge I'd swear this is a piece of Austin-themed clip art. :-) Really great composition, too. It's rare to see this level of diversity in the profiles of the people on the bridge. The pregnant (?) woman near the right side is an especially poignant inclusion. |
