Something like f/32 with 30 sec, lit up with something like 4 flash shots bounced off of a large white poster board, and then worked on the highlights details with a white LED flashlight. A lot of dodging a burning in post.

WOW! This is a TON of forethought and planning - and it works REALLY well! Amazing creativity!

like the idea but reminds me of the Peter Sis book "Three Keys" where figures are made of what they are.

It's a neat effect you're going for, but it didn't quite come together for me. I think maybe it's the glasses. If you could've found something better for them, it might have worked better.

Unique and creative. A little soft and dark for me.

Cool. Looks like a robot. The book title at the bottom is a bit distracting.

creative but not natural

This is very creative and imaginative. It obviously took alot of time to develop the idea, create, shoot and develop. Photographically it is very interesting and it is one of the better pictures in the challenge. I think, unfortunately, that it might not get the score it deserves as it may not be perceived as "Natural" Great job though.

EXCEPTIONALLY fine work, but for me it doesn't meet the guidelines. This is an assemblage, not a "found face". In the right circumstances I'd "10" it.
