I love it when portraits manage to convey personality without it feeling "posed" or "forced." This is clearly a posed shot, of course--not a candid. But it doesn't feel the least bit like a "contrived" composition. And the personality of the subject--the balance of intensity and gentleness--comes through clear as day. |

Really nice portrait, but it's too soft, even the eyes. It's also missing just the tiniest bit of brightness. |
