 A set of surprisingly sharp antique forks I found to be an interesting textural study for this challenge. Zero clue how this will do, conceptually, but I kept coming back to this one.

Really never expected the range of responses this image received. I have to say I'm baffled by it, but still generally consider this to be a successful creation. :-) I'm just glad it seems to have connected with a few people!

i agree .. it is an absolutely successful creation .. and like i said .. i found it very very appealing in voting ..
i particularly liked the tones and the light and those sharp bits and the oof bits ..
its often difficult to put into words why an image grabs you .. although i've noticed that you dont seem to find it difficult .. lol ..

anyway .. after i received your lovely comment on my F-Stop image i decided to pop into your profile and see what i could see .. and this grabbed my attention .. i was very surprised .. like you .. that this didnt do better .. and i really cant understand all those votes of 3 .. it definitely satisfies the challenge .. i actually thought this could end up on the front page .. and apologies for not commenting during the challenge ...

Definitely ribbon worthy as far as I am concerned. I really like the dramatic editing. It is more than just a photograph. It shows excellence and creative expression.

I guess Ken and I have something in common after all ;-) This was among my top 3 picks. Reminds me of the kitchen scene from "Lemony Snicket's a Series of Unfortunate Events" for some reason. Love love the processing!
