These are my four "children" ... in their thirties now.

The four of them are phenomenally close.

Dogs have long gone.

I miss this.

But, I'm happy... they are happy... and life... is good!

Yes, I realize that other images entered will better portray the common idea of Best Friends, but that's only because the viewers won't know the story as I do. :)

I'm not expecting a good score, and that's okay.

I'm happy.

I love this. Like the best family portraits do, it conveys the individual personalities AND the idiomatic relationships between them. You can clearly discern the layers of friendship between the subjects.
