Shot a roll of fencing sitting in someone's pickup truck. Applied one tone curve for contrast, and then additional color-specific curves until I had a look I wanted.

This was a tricky challenge for me because so much of my thoughts about images lean towards their use in a graphic context, as most stock photos are used. I've posted the original image (cropped but before the color manipulation and a cover mock-up for a fictional trade magazine (frequent users of stock photos) as my image might have been used.
BTW: the basic premise of the story is true (from a radio news report), but all of the details are made up.

not quite sure what you are trying to show here .... i dont really like the color choice ... if it was a blue tone and not as strong i can see it used as some kind of technology background, but right now it's really hard to focus on because of the combo of red and green

Interesting, colourful abstract shot, but I'm not sure if it's a stock photo.

Good pic. What is it, and how did you do it?

This looks almost like an abstract of a tall building (your title gives it away). The colors are attractive and the focus seems quite sharp. Nice job. I don't know how often you would sell this shot from your stock portfolio but I like it nonetheless.

This would probably do quite well in the new challenge, leading lines! The green/orange effect really comes through here and gives this image charachter. I could see this photo in a magazine of presentation for sure. Good job!

This is an interesting abstract. I don't know a lot about stock photos, but this one concerns me slightly. Without the title, I don't really know what I'm looking at, and in the world of stock photography, you have to be able to sell you image for use in various media. I'm not sure what type of media would use an image like this :) - setzler
