Oh my!
After rollover I noticed that I completely misunderstood the challenge. No billboard but just one photograph

Well - reading is power...this is going to be a brown ribbon, but still a fun project to do.

I wrote the text above immediately after the first vote – which was a 2.

I'm not so hopeless anymore; many voters seem to like the advertisement for the Italian restaurant after all.

This restaurant actually exists, by the way, and it's called "Vero italiano" – meaning: real Italian. It's only a 2-minute walk from my office, and my colleagues and I occasionally have our lunch break there. Not too often, though – because pizza and pasta aren't exactly good for your waistline.

This was one of my top three. Honestly, of all the entries (including my own) this most looked like the sort of composition I would actually expect a local business to put up on a billboard in an outdoor advertising or awareness-driving marketing campaign. It has the distinctive message of "this is a family-run place that believes in itself." It balances actual display of the restaurant with the human connection and is just very inviting.
