Elyse decided to let my three-year-old go wild making and decorating some strawberry cupcakes with as many sprinkles and other toppings as she wanted. Couldn't miss this photo op, which is when she took the first bite of her dubious creation.
Opted for this processing to counter the garish colors and less-than-ideal lighting circumstance and highlight the emotion of the moment instead. The square crop here helps--I think--to zoom in on the expression and moment in an attractive way. I do wish the eyes were a bit better lit, but I was willing to trade that for the authenticity of the expression in this moment over others I caught.
