 Lyndie wanted me to replicate this photo she had of her mum taken in 1928 using her grand-daughter who has very similar curly hair. I only thought later on to incorporate the photo within the photo, and she thought it was a great idea. The timing was perfect, and my model was wonderful. One of the best behaved two year olds I've ever photographed. And you all know how hard that can be :/

Anita - My apologies if the vote numbers were different. I was basing it off the data you provided in your Photographers Comments section (since edited and removed by you). I'm also sorry for your confusion, but your association of my commenting timestamp and when I actually vote don't match up. Usually I'm not voting at the same time as commenting.

No I did not receive seven votes in the last three hours. I received four votes, when I viewed the score three hours before rollover it was on 7.04 and after you voted it dropped to 6.88. As an administrator I would expect you to be more encouraging, but encouraged is not how I feel!!

Interesting take. Kind of a polaroid feel with the border and vintage vibe with the sepia toning. I bet this looks cool up close where we could possibly see more of the photo the child is holding. Doesn't quite come across on the voting page at the scale needed to really show it.
