Wasn't thinking about this challenge when I shot this. Just looked back on some photos I took of my friend's daughter and rather liked it. She loves spending time in the garden and in that moment she picked the apricot from the tree and said "take a photo of this" and so I did.
Thanks for the faves. I knew I would garner some low votes for having a human in my image but after all, didn't the challenge ask for outside the box??

Congratulations, Masterful, Artistic and Creative Photography. Images like this are the reason I love photography as I do. You honed in with clarity on the still life that is not centered and surrounded it with a beautiful story. Superb Imagery!
I usually don't associate live objects (people, pets, etc.) in a still life. Interesting take. The opposing, separated, objects do add some tension to the image.
