An image of my wife and one of our cats. I am pretty happy with how it turned out. I had only min. left of day light, and it is already Tue. So I had to shoot at ISO 500. It is a little grainy, but I like how it adds to the image. So for a quick rush job I was happy with the result.

Very nice but a touch too melodramatic with that slight frown between the eyebrows. lol A superior b/w 7

This is a really great capture! It's hard to get a cat being held to pose like that! the lighting is perfect, and the black and white really adds to this one. 10

Great shot, love the emotion in both the cat and woman's eyes...in my opinion this represents the challenge the best.

Touching effect you got there, with both sets of eyes looking in the same direction...

Nice, clean and sharp photo. The crop and b/w work well here. I gave this pretty high marks.

A close in crop and highly shrap shot such as this draws the viewer in to study the photo more closely. The more I study the more distracting the young lady's hair (about 3 strands) in front of the cat's face becomes. Still an excellent shot.

Black and white works nicely here, nice crop. Obvious distress in womens face (I hope it was an act), very convincing. Ribbon worthy.

Nice shot. I like the way both subjects are looking in a common direction past the
camera. Stay hairs above the cats head are a little distracting.

I like the feeling of relationship even though they are not looking at each other. I also love the goofy expression on the cat's face

My top pick for the challenge (except for the picture I took, of course) :)
Love the expressions. Has the best lighting of the bunch.
Only wish that her hairs weren't hanging in front of the cats face.
