A pity the dog doesn't look to be enjoying the hug in this particular shot. Everything else is nice. 7

This picture shows the relationship man-dog very well. It would have been even better if the dog had closed his eyes, like his owner. You might have used a more uniform background, the limit between couch and wall is distracting. 6.

nice photograph. I like the details and the warm softness. I also think you have (is it yours?) an amazing dog!
Yet, in regards to the challenge, I am not too sure about this interpretation. Somehow, and dog looks patient, but not affectionate to his owner. It somehow gives the feeling that the dog would rather not be there...
I'm sorry... but this is just my feeling about it.

In any case, the photo itself is good. 7

Very nice shot, good capture. It would be stronger though if the dog were showing affection in return. Technically excellent though.
