Congratulations! A well deserved Blue. I would think it to be uncommon to catch a hummingbird from this angle or at least very challenging. Beautiful

Wow, thanks. Got up this morning and was surprised and delighted this did so well. This was a spur of the moment entry and I was not sure how well a BW image would do compared to color. Thanks for the comments and votes!

Looks like a happy dance capture if ever I've seen one. :-P Seriously, though--stunning capture and sublime b/w conversion. Textbook-level technique on display here.
