 This sort of moody composition is a good example of why I just can't quite let go of my old, on-its-last-mechanical-leg point-and-shoot. Occasionally, it's still the best thing in my toolbox for getting a certain kind of shot, like this one, taken just before sunset in the parking lot at work, against the background of a spin-up thunderstorm on the westward horizon. I used the camera's built-in "toy camera" mode to introduce the plastic lens vignetting and color grading at the time of exposure. Post-processing is just a minor sharpen to enhance the power lines.
