This fawn was in our front yard, but a long way away. I was sitting at my desk and said, "Self, what IS that?"

Took a photo with my camera, enlarged it and saw it was a fawn!


I put on my Bigma lens and went to the bathroom window.

He/She was all alone (seems a bit young to me to be alone out in the open, but... who am I to evaluate good deer parenting skills)?

He/She ran off. I'm not sure what the scare was... I was shooting through the bathroom window.

That's a late bloomer! Around here they've gotten much bigger by now. I like how you left some space for context.

Sweet... if you would have gotten closer to the animal or had the oppertunity to zoom in - I would have loved this picture but overall it is nice
