| Sometimes a title works well and helps the presentation. This is one of those cases. The image has a fairly sturdy point of interest. Seems like the timing / exposure may have been a bit harsh by the actions potentially taken in post to compensate? The texture is given away in a couple of ways; the foggy piece in the lower left, and the strong sense of grain especially in the dark sky area. For me it makes it feel a little muddy. Some may like it. Just a personal opinion. One last nit, sorry ... but why such a wide comp / crop on this? Did you look at it with the left side pulled in a bit? Anyway. Good luck in the challenge. |
