 i had wanted an insect eating another insect for this challenge ..
went into the grass with that in mind realizing it would be a miracle to find what i was looking for ..

i dont know how i saw these two because the spider was so small .. maybe about 1/8" or 3 or 4mm at most ..

i took many photos .. unfortunately it was a bit windy .. the spider was moving his meal around too much .. and my micro movements made it extremel⁴y hard to stack the 8 photos i used ..

had wanted to take more photos at the time .. but when i re-positioned myself the spider and ran away with the fly .. ;)

I always love reading your blogs. There is indeed a story behind every photo.

I was amazed by its sharpness, what the lens can magnify is truly amazing.

Really thought this would score higher. Sometimes this happens with obscure challenges.

Roz, this is terrific. I forget how little these bugs actually are because the beauty is overwhelming in your images. Your comments are reminders of the technicality of shooting them. Congratulations
