I'm really loving playing around with the feel of pencil/pen sketches. I'm not quite sure it works with this one. But I haven't gotten out to shoot much. The pelicans are all from a two day period where I got to go out and play. The shad were running so there was great activity. I'm kicking myself for not having gone out more often. A friend actually got a shot where a pelican and an osprey were going after the same fish and the osprey's head ended up in the pelican's beak! I would have loved to have even seen that, much less photograph it. (ithe osprey was ok, btw).

Anyway, Thanks for the comments, and thanks for putting up with this many pelican photos!! I try not to do too many of the same shot, but I miss DPC and just haven't been photographing, so it was fun to have some challenges to watch.

I can't believe that Birds in Flight is coming up in two days and I probably won't get out to get anything. :(

I hope you've entered the Flying Birds challenge that they tailor-made for you! :)

It's like if they'd made a challenge a few years ago named "Dress up a Frog or Toad" and handed it to me! Ha!

I can't believe that Birds in Flight is coming up in two days and I probably won't get out to get anything. :( really, you mean we can all have a chance to beat you,😂
