 i had seen this moth for three days on the window outside my kitchen ..

felt it would be good for the patterns challenge but not where it was on the window ..

a few hours before this challenge went in for voting i decided i'd try and photograph it where it was .. i think it felt threatened and flew to the jacaranda tree ..

couldnt have been more perfect ..
felt the leaves were a pattern and the moth too .. :)

The contrast of colors in your image is beautiful and you can almost feel the suede like wings on the moth. Beautiful and Stunning imagery.
