Good idea beautifully composed and photographed--good balance in the composition

I can't imagine this working with respect to stock photography at all. It's an interesting, quirky image in it's own right though. A bit soft and grainy, and could do with more contrast, but those shoes are intriguing. Gives me the feeling of a family holiday home on the beach, or something.

Looks more like the "insole" line to me.

The window, not being the subject, jumps out at me and its misalignment is bothersome. I think the shoes against the building are great, maybe a tighter crop on the window to eliminate the strong horizontal line at the top would improve your idea. All of this should be done by getting close enough to frame it as close to final as possible for more clarity. 5

Good double meaning here, I wonder how many people know what a plimsoll line really is? The composition is good but the focus is a little off. Stock photography? Okay, I guess any photo can be classed as stock photography, it's just a question of being able to sell it or not. Good luck....

Unique shot with great appeal. I don't know what that heap of stuff on the right of the shelf is, but it knid of distracts. Otherwise, I just wish the colors of the shoes were varied more so that it brought more contrast between them.

Although I like the shot --- composition is nice, exposure is good and focus is good --- I don't see how this would be used in, for example, a magazine or an annual report, to illustrate something. While you reference "Plimsol Line" in your title, I don't see this shot as being a ship.

Maybe you could get a few more pairs and submit them for the Lines challenge.

IMO the focus looks a little off and the image is very grainy.

interesting shot :) I like the contrast that the window provieds... maybe a little extra sharpness would be a good idea also... nice idea :) - setzler

Interesting shot....little tilted, needs a bit more color. HOWEVER, I do like this and it was a great find. Congrats on a nice shot.

Focus is a problem here, and I'm not sure that the subject would be all that interesting if it wasn't. I can, however, commend you on owning a pair of Converse All-Stars.
