 I’m lucky enough to work within sight of the Lincoln Memorial.

A work friend and I went for a walk and this just happened. Held up my phone and boom.

Very little editing. The sky wasn’t quite so vivid, so that’s the phone’s software overcooking it a bit. But my wife liked it. :)

I’ll give you a 7 for the symbolism. The exposure balance between the sky and monument looks a bit off, though. Beautiful sky.

While I have seen these skies in real life I think this is not quite real and shifted too far to violet, 6
