This was actually taken at the beautiful lavender farm Bridestowe lavender estate albeit the lavender was not flowering. I nearly entered an image of the dormant lavender with the mountains which would have been a pretty shot and may have scored well, but this image spoke to me more. It's of my husband, he was not feeling well at the time (we were on our anniversary trip) but he's not one to just lie down still - he wanted to come out with me and enjoy our trip. He was feeling quite tired at this stage and decided to go back to the car via this drainage system. I thought it would make for an interesting leading lines shot.
I couldn’t come up with a suitable title, so I googled poems about loneliness and I found this in one of the writings.
