 i wanted grasshoppers mating for this challenge .. and went into the grass three days in a row looking .. I see them .. not often .. but was hopeful ..

on the third day I was feeling grateful for seeing what I was looking for and saying thankyou before i saw them ..

when I did see them I was blown away and felt quite emotional .. it felt like a miracle ..

it's wonderful when prayers are answered ..

I took a heap of pics of these guys .. in different places ..

first try I got too close and they jumped away .. second try i moved too fast and they jumped away ..

but I was able to find them again each time ..

often grasshoppers will go low down after being disturbed and a photo won't be any good as it's too dark and too busy with other grass stalks getting in the way .. and sometimes you can't find them again ..

also when you get close they might move around the grass stalk they are on in an effort to hide ..

this was one of the last group of photos I took .. 3 photos manually focus stacked ..

hope my miracle appeals to the viewers ..:)
