 there have been literally no insects to photograph this spring which is very different from previous years ..

usually there'd be lots of different types of flies .. robberflies, long-legged flies, fruit flies, dragonflies, grasshoppers and other insects .. but this year only seeing house flies and nothing much else ..

took this photo a few hours before this challenge went in for voting ..

really struggled with a poem for this photo ..
wanted something deep and meaningful ..
came up empty .. :(
