 Wanted to try something a little different for this challenge. All of my dogs are obsessed with water and chuck it balls. So thought I would see if I could get something interesting in the water. This was taken with a GoPro. Nova is jumping off a diving board, into our pool to grab a ball I am holding under the water. Took about 10 tries to get this, using the GoPro burst mode (30 pics in 1s). I'm not overly impressed with the capture quality personally. Overall I think it's okay with the image resized, but was fairly soft out of the camera. The bubble just in front of Nova's nose makes her snout look soft in my opinion, but the longer I stare at it, it's just the distortion effect of the water. I think I needed more shutter speed, as Nova is crazy fast. But the GoPro doesn't allow you to adjust. Ah well. Pretty cool cheap underwater camera though!

Outtake - reminds me of the Reapers from Blade 2. If you ever wonder why your dogs will always pee a ton after diving into water over and over, here is why :)

Congrats on the ribbon - what a great shot! I didn't think its soft at all - look at those whiskers - couldn't get any sharper

Oh Excellent!! I just tried to do a bunch of these, but the dogs really don't want to put their face in the water. Well done! I thought I was doing well with my 6.9, but I'm obviously not beating this one.
