 I think that was his name, I can’t remember. We met him in Cromwell at the historic precinct. He owned or ran an art gallery. He went out for a smoko break and I asked if I could take his photo, told him he had a good face for photography.

I'm surprised this ribboned. I'm glad I asked this gentleman for his photo, otherwise a photo of my husband was the other option, which turned out ok but probably not as good as this one. If I was back at home I could of used someone from a photo-shoot.

Thanks for the lovely comments too. I could see some sadness in this man's eyes. I'm sure he has a story or two to tell.

i gave this a 7. there was a small number of portraits that gave a sense of background to balance the foreground. this was one of them.

this is such an emotive image .. his eyes have a poignancy about them .. a sadness and wisdom .. and much life experience ..
were you able to get his connect details .. I'm sure this would be a treasured photo ..

This shows real character- I get the feeling I would love to meet and talk to this person. I think it's the twinkle in his eyes.
