 My daughter is training to be a welder, and next year, a machinist. Both skills will make her a fabricator. (So glad she won't work in food service any longer!) I had an opportunity to photograph her in action while visiting. Since I was wearing a welders mask that darkened when the welding torch came on, I had to set up and aim the camera in advance, shooting in burst mode.

Post-challenge:
Dang, highest I've ever done in minimal editing! If I were the type who lowballed the other strong entries, this could have had the blue! But I'm not that type.

Congrats on the red Steve. (I hope you didn't get your camera too close. I ruined the lens on my Canon G12 by being too close to an angle grinder.)
