Yeah -- I goofed in my choice. It's just that you rarely see squirrels sitting still. Much less tucking their toes under. Much less sitting on such a small stump of a branch sticking out of a tree.That's what I get for deciding last minute! If I would have sat on it for a day, I would have known better!

But now I have 13 minutes to see if I can find something for On the Edge. Gotta go!

another great take on the challenge .. i love squirrels .. we dont have them in australia .. i wish we did .. they are beautiful little creatures .. especially in photographs . hope the hawk didnt find him .. :)

This is a wonderful shot of one of my favourite critters. Everything crisp sharp, the background perfect and exposure all coming together to make a wonderful image. Stillness... I'm not seeing it despite the title ;) I love the chubby little fella and it's a great shot but I think there are better fits for this particular contest unfortunately :(
