 In my childhood collecting baseball cards was very popular. I grew up in New York idolizing Mickey Mantle and rooting for the New York Yankees. My grandfather would take me to some games. I even got to go to the World Series. As with most card collections of the day my mother disposed of my cards when I got older. When I moved to Maryland and had children I enjoyed taking them to the old Memorial Stadium and the new Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Cal Ripken was for them what Mickey Mantle was for me. They enjoyed collecting as well. We would go to memorabilia shows in different states and see the Orioles play. I bought a few cards from my generation and thought it would be fun to collect memorabilia of Nolan Ryan who was one of the best pitchers of his time and had a long Hall of Fame career. It was fun to treasure hunt along with my kids. This is a sampling of some of the memorabilia I have collected over the years with fond memories of my childhood and time with my children going to games and collecting cards.

That’s my son. Fuji photo night at Memorial Stadium. They let the fans take pictures of the players from the warning track on the field. Cal Ripken came up behind my son and I got the shot. 1989.

Red Sox fan here and since you've got Yankees stuff got to give you a 1 (kidding). Nice collection of items baseball makes from some great memories. Nicely lit and displayed with lots of interest for a baseball fan.
