Standard editing of a scene in the Highlands of Scotland. The ruin is one of many derelict houses remaining from the 18th Century 'Clearances' when Scottish landlords evicted their tenants to allow the land to be used for sheep grazing. The Island of Mull had about 10,000 inhabitants in the 18C; it is now only about 3,0000.

I would have loved to photograph this scene. There is so much to see and many potential viewpoints. I get the opportunity to go out and shoot with my son on occasion. We often times will be taking a picture of the same scene but he sees it differently than I do. I love to see his interpretation. I like the way you have used your title to explain your purpose.

Perfect photo for the challenge. Totally reminiscent of upland Britain - could be high in the Yorkshire Dales, but I see from your title this is likely to be Scotland.
