Ah, someone from my neck of the woods! Beautiful photo, although your landmark is a minor player in this one.

I like the pciture but the bridge is hard to make out.
12/12/2004 02:25:35 AM
very nice photo, however the bridge is not the focal point of it. I think it would be even better without it :)

The bridge looks like a great choice for this challenge - so why did you hide it almost completely? Just about every other element in this photo has more impact than the bridge :-(

Interesting composition, great light, but if I hadn't read the title, I might have missed the bridge.

Not a bad shot at all. The problem I have with this photograph is the landmark in relation to your camera. The water, wiregrass, hills, and sky over powers the bridge. If the lights would not of been on the bridge would of been hard to see. With that said good color and lighting. Picture seems to have a bit of camera shake. I wish you well in the challenge.

The set up of this shot, in my opinion, makes the grass and reflection the prime subject, and not the bridge. The water looks great. I bet this would be a great shot of just the water and the grass. Color is very nice. 5.

Wow, beautiiful!! I live close to here and travel this bridge often. 10

Challenge link: very strong - nice take on the brief.

Image critique: this has a great POV, lovely DOF and a cunning position for your subject. The low viewpoint demonstrates how useful the landmark is to someone who's using it as a geographical reference point. Slow shutter has given you good depth at the cost of a little movement.

Out-of-challenge appeal: very smart image so I'd revisit.

The composition on this shot is really outstanding and the colors look great together. Plus, you did a great job finding a creative vantage point to display the landmark.

Excellent composition. I like how the bottom and top thirds have a harmonious balance. Unfortunately, the subject, your landmark, is rather detailless and softly focused given its distance. Still that's just a minor point in your overall wonderful shot (love the sky and reflection).

I think that the bridge is too far back in this shot.

You used interesting way to capture bridge... i like blue sky and coloring of water. Good work.

Nice photo, just a bit too far away to create drama.

That's one way to sneak in a Landmark photo. The foreground is great. The background is decent. Overall, nice photo.

As I scrolled down the photo on my labtop, I felt this was sort of plain. What really sealed the deal for me was the water at the bottom. Just not my flavor.

nice scene like the deep blue with the reeds in the foreground and sky. Your main subject is kinda lost in the distance to me but its nice image overall
