Hi Roz. I think it is L. Trifolii. There may be other species that lay eggs this way as well.

Thanks. For the comment. It’s a macro conversion lens that is attached to the camera lens.

I didn't know leaf miners were basically maggots. They infest my Columbine every year. Interesting. Nice detail on the fly, too.

Hmmm...looks like a red-eyed house fly but it could be a flesh fly. Flies are not my thing... Nice picture anywhay. Maybe they should have ID cards so we know what we're shooting.

Have to be quick to catch a fly, yes? Cool. Like the eye color too. I see you have a Nikon lens listed on the left, then mention a Raynox DCR 250 lens in the comments. ???
