Seems like they lay on a hill? The invisable downward diagonal and the stones (cast iron/bronze?) getting smaller higher up creates a good sense of depth here. It is also nice that these are bright and that the next ones in the background are dark / in the shadow. The darker upper right is also in a nice parralel to the brighter lower 2/3 section.
For my taste the B&W toning is a bit too flat middle gray, on the otherhand that may just be fine with a graveyard. I'd also rather see this scene without the white thingies (to put a flower in?) next to them. Pull 'em out!
