With Utah moving to an "orange" state this month I just had to get out and take some photos. I took the family down to Moab for a short weekend getaway. Since Arches and Canyonlands are still both closed I had to get out to some other spots that are not so "iconic".
I figured Corona Arch was the best place to start, since we are dealing with the Corona Virus. I had to get up at 4:30 and hike out in the dark to get here before sunrise. While that was certainly tiring it was rewarding. I had the entire place to myself for over an hour!
I am a beginner at pretty much every aspect of photography, and still learning. I've been watching classes on Kelby One about landscapes, composition, Photo Pills, sun bursts, etc. I decided to try a few of these things out. Thankfully I understand the absolute entry-level basics of Photo Pills, as I was completely turned around with my navigational directions by the time I arrived at the arch, and would have been shooting it in the wrong direction.
