My original plan was to get up early and hike to a high point in the mountains to capture the first rays of the sunrise. I had it all planned out, but failed to consider how much time the hike itself would take.
I had to stop halfway up the trail and find a suitable spot for the pictures so I could still capture the sunrise, before hiking on to my original destination. I wish the foreground was more interesting, but this will have to do.
