96th! This was a great photo. Obviously low tech, great colours. What in heavons name were people thinking.Phot deserved better consideration.

At first glance seems ordinary, but then finds balance in the shell coloring and the background cast, well sectioned off by the placement of the wisk and the backlit shadow. Good DOF and focus, distracting highlight on the bottom egg on left, nice flow of shapes with ovals contrasted with the sharp angles. I did not find myself thinking of low tech, but see that it very much is.

To a degree this is low tech but not the manufacture of the utensil. However, I take your represenation more on the old versus the modern in the most abstract realm. 6 Bumping to 7

Nice, i like the soft white b/g it would have to to harsh with a high key white. maybe it could be inproved by tighting up the shot a little
