 When I took this drone shot, downtown mobile was in the distance in the upper right but hidden in fog. My original thought was to paste it into the image from another shot, but it looked more like the buildings were coming out of the water, so I decided to do something that looked like the results of the polar caps melting.

Main shot is of interstate 10 just outside Mobile, Al. a ground level shot of Mobile is in the water on the left. Also featuring some bits of Chicago and another piece of the I-10 bridge coming into it.

Could have been more convincing where I pasted in Chicago but I couldn't quite get that merge with the water looking right.

Post-challenge notes:
Only the 3rd or 4th time I've made a top ten in a freestudy, so I'm pleased.
